Fast Facts:

At the YWCA of Banff in 2010/11:
- 293 shelter nights were provided - 15 women and 10 children
- 101 people attended counselling sessions
- 565 counselling sessions were provided
In ONE day, in Alberta, 816 women and 7717 children were helped by shelters

*Donation can be monetary or a gift-in-kind equivalent, or combination of the two.

Examples of how your sponsorship money helps support the YWCA of Banff:

$250 = a night of safe emergency shelter and counseling for a woman and child
$50 = one school-aged child to attend an 8-week relationship social skills group
$500 = one person to participate in a 10-week violence prevention program
